so today all i do is make a sugar dough and preparing the croissant for tomorrow.
i didnt come yesterday,so i ask my friend what did u do yesterday?he told me that they're divided into groups that consists 3 people per group,because i didnt come last day i didnt have a group.
so chef ical told me to join putra's group,there is putra,me,and fikar on that group
enough with the information about the group lets get to where we started doing something
so today we have a new lecturer that goes by the name of Chef Salam
he teach us on "pastry and bakery"
Chef Ical told us to be kind to Chef Salam and ask any question about pastry and bakery if u want to
he's very good at pastry&bakery.why i know?cause Chef Ical told us that he can make a cake without using the measurements and the result is still perfect.
thats how good he is.
today we make "sugar dough" and preparing "croissant"
first,Chef Salam teach us how to make the sugar dough,and im quite catching about what he's saying
when we're working(my group)
putra split me and fikar to measure the ingredients
after all the ingredients is measured,we started making the sugar dough
we mix all the ingredients and stirring it carefully by hand,after that we put the dough into the mould
and bake it
after we bake it about 15minutes
its done
and Chef Salam told us that our sugar dough is pretty good
i think "pretty good" is enough for me cause,trust me for a student "pretty good" makes u satisfied
after the sugar dough we move to the croissant
its Chef Ical's turn to explain us how to make croissant
so we do what he told us to do to mix the dough with hand and dont take a long time to mix it,just until its mixed well
fikar did the first roll,then i do the second one,putra do the thirds roll,and the final step is rolling the dough and moulding it into croissant is done by me and putra,we measure like what Chef Ical told us,12,5cm long per croissant and shape it into a triangle and roll it.
